Terms of Service

Plain-English terms for using GovBidFinder. No fine-print games.

Last updated: July 1, 2026

GovBidFinder (“GovBidFinder,” “we,” “us”) is a service operated by Chart Digital Ventures LLC, a Utah limited liability company. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GovBidFinder website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What GovBidFinder is — and is not

GovBidFinder is a private tool that surfaces publicly available U.S. federal contract opportunities from SAM.gov and explains them in plain English. Paid plans add features such as unlimited search, daily email alerts, and automated proposal drafting.

To be straight with you, GovBidFinder is NOT:• Affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. government or SAM.gov. We are a private service that sits on top of public data.• A guarantee that you will win or be awarded any contract. No honest service can promise that.• A service that submits bids or proposals for you. You remain responsible for submitting through the official government channels.• Legal, financial, accounting, or professional advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you use it on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to act for that business.

3. Your account

Sign-in is by a one-time link sent to your email — there is no password. Keep access to your email secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

4. Free and paid plans

The free tier offers a limited number of searches per day with no signup. Paid plans (Starter, Pro, and the Lifetime founder plan) unlock additional features as described on our pricing page. We may change features and prices going forward, but a change will not affect a plan you have already paid for during the period you paid for.

5. Billing, renewals, and cancellation

Monthly plans are billed in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime using the manage-subscription link in your Stripe receipt or by emailing us — cancellation stops future billing, and you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number.

6. Refunds

Because we offer a free tier so you can try GovBidFinder before you pay anything, all purchases are final and we do not offer refunds, except where required by law. For monthly plans, you can cancel anytime to stop future billing, and you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for. The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase and is non-refundable.

7. Automated proposal drafting

Pro and Lifetime plans include automated proposal drafting. It produces a draft for you to review, complete, and submit yourself — you are responsible for the final proposal, and we never submit bids on your behalf. Automated output can contain errors or omissions; always check it against the official solicitation before relying on it or submitting.

8. Acceptable use

Please do not: misuse, overload, or disrupt the Service; scrape, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute the data or our summaries; circumvent usage limits or access controls; or use the Service unlawfully or to infringe anyone’s rights.

9. Third-party data and accuracy

Contract information comes from SAM.gov’s public API and other third parties. We work hard to keep it useful, but we do not guarantee it is accurate, complete, or current. Always confirm the details and deadline on the official SAM.gov record before relying on them or submitting a bid.

10. Intellectual property

The Service — including its design, original text, and generated summaries — is owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own business purposes. The underlying government contract data is public information.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION IS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR LOST OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update the Service or these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or where needed to protect the Service or other users.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Utah.
