HELP & FAQ

Questions? Straight answers.

New to federal contracting? Totally normal to have questions before you hand over a card. Here are the ones we hear most — answered plainly, no sales fluff.

Is my data and payment information safe?

Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe — one of the largest, most trusted payment companies in the world. We never see or store your card number. We only keep what we need to run the service (your email and your saved searches), and we don’t sell your data to anyone.

How fresh are the listings? How often do they update?

We pull new opportunities from SAM.gov’s official public API once a day, every day. Every contract you see links straight back to the live SAM.gov record, so you can always confirm the latest details and deadline at the source.

How do I cancel?

No contracts, no lock-in. Monthly plans cancel anytime — email us at hello@govbidfinder.org (or use the manage-subscription link in your Stripe receipt) and you won’t be billed again. You keep access through the end of the period you’ve already paid for.

What is a set-aside? (8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB)

A set-aside is a contract the government reserves for specific types of small or disadvantaged businesses, so the big national primes can’t bid against you. If you qualify for one, you’re competing against a much smaller field. The common ones:

• Small Business — reserved for small businesses (the size limit depends on your industry).• 8(a) — for businesses owned by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals.• HUBZone — for businesses based in a Historically Underutilized Business Zone.• WOSB — Women-Owned Small Business.• SDVOSB — Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.

Our summaries flag which set-aside (if any) applies to each contract, so you only spend time on the ones you can actually win.

What do I get free versus paid?

Free (no signup): 3 searches a day, so you can try the product in one click.

Basic ($99/mo): unlimited search across all 50 states, plain-English summaries on every contract, and daily email alerts for your saved searches.

Pro ($349/mo): everything in Basic, plus unlimited proposal drafting — point it at the contract you pick and it builds a structured draft you finish and sign (we never submit for you). Plus priority support.

Lifetime ($1,499, founder price, limited availability): everything, one time, forever — no subscription.

What is GovBidFinder NOT?

We believe in straight talk, so here’s what we’re not:

• We’re not affiliated with the U.S. government. We’re a private tool that sits on top of public SAM.gov data to make it usable.• We don’t guarantee you’ll win. We help you find and understand the right contracts — and, on Pro, draft the proposal for you to finish and sign — but no honest service can promise a win.• We don’t submit bids for you. You still submit through the official channels; we help you find the right opportunities and put your best proposal forward.

Still have a question?

We’re a small team and we actually answer. Email us — no chatbot maze.
