1. What we collect

Information you give us:• Your email address — to sign you in and send the alerts you ask for.• The searches you choose to save.

Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number — we only keep a record that a payment was made and which plan you have.

Information collected automatically: basic usage data (for example, a daily search counter kept in your browser) and standard server logs that help us keep the Service running and secure.

2. How we use it

We use your information to provide and improve the Service; to sign you in with emailed one-time links; to send the daily alerts you request; to process payments and manage your subscription; to respond to your messages; and to keep the Service secure.

3. How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run GovBidFinder, each under their own terms:• Stripe — payment processing.• Supabase — database, sign-in, and hosting.• Email and alert delivery providers — to send your sign-in links and the alerts you ask for.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of GovBidFinder and its users.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use minimal browser storage to keep you signed in and to count your free daily searches. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and then delete or anonymize it — unless we are required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access or delete your information, or unsubscribe from alerts, anytime by emailing hello@govbidfinder.org. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; email us and we will honor applicable requests.

7. Security

Payments run through Stripe and our data is hosted on Supabase, both of which maintain industry-standard security practices. No system is ever perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Children

GovBidFinder is built for businesses and adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Links to other sites

The Service links to SAM.gov and other websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own — this policy covers only GovBidFinder.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
